Is normal. But someone said that it is going to be cold with freezing precipitation for the next few days and that makes all of North Texas go into gridlock, people rush to the store and stock up on batteries/bottled water/canned food and everyone drives like a bunch of idiots. Even worse than when it is raining (see Pet Peeve #4). Awesome.
Plus the area has the lovely addition of the Super Bowl in town this weekend. The crazies have already started arriving and that will make it worse. At lease the folks from Pittsburgh and Green Bay will know how to drive in a little ice (unlike the locals).
