Let me be clear...

I mentioned in the good old bucket list that I wanted to be on the kiss cam.

I apparently need to be more specific... I want to be on the kiss cam when I have someone with me to kiss.

Blood

Mom's big concern after I got the tattoo was me not being able to give blood. Turns out that since I went to a place in Texas that was licensed the blood bank doesn't care. Woo hoo. The day after I was eligible to give (a year from our return from Belize) they were calling and got me set up. Mom and I went last weekend (I got the trainee, so it was more of a painful process than normal). Mom is happy and can't really find anything else negative to say about getting a tattoo.

Ha. So there.

Cross it off

#5 on the Bucket List - Done and done. I am officially a scuba diver!

So excited. Now to practice in blue water. Making plans a dive or two when we are on the cruise.

Floating

We floated the river this weekend. Fun fun fun. Sore and bruised but fun!



Realized as I was trucking along down the river how many more adventures I have had in my recent life. In my old life everything was too expensive, too out of the way, etc. It was partially my fault for not fighting for it. Now, while I have built up a little bit of credit card debt, I do a lot more and have crossed a lot more off of my bucket list than I had in my entire previous life.

It has been decided...

Got tired of fighting the beach bug.

Found a cruise that goes to the Caribbean in October and gave it to the manfolk for his birthday last week. I am so freaking excited that I can barely wait (and yes it is a present for me as well).



Scuba certification weekend one is complete and I didn't drown (and neither did my dive buddy). Just makes me that much more excited. Now to focus on passing class and going to the gym and saving some cash for the what is sure to be expensive bar bill.

The Bucket List

The ever growing Bucket List. I have checked off some this year and that feels AWESOME.

Here they are in no particular order:
1. Get a new tattoo. (Technically crossed this one off in March. Now I want another)
2. Go skydiving
3. Learn to speak passable Spanish (this one keeps starting and stalling)
4. Learn to drive a motorcycle (I've ridden but never driven)
5. Get scuba certified (Starting this process today - that's how this whole 'blog the list' idea came up)
6. Go to French Polynesia/Bora Bora
7. Be on the Kiss Cam at a major league sporting event
8. Walk (and/or have sex on) a black sand beach


Confession - I keep a running list stored in my phone. Just in case something comes up that I need to add immediately or I get that bored and need something to do.

Finally...

one item off the Bucket List. I have been wanting FOREVER (seriously ten years) to get another tattoo. It has been years of planning and deciding and hemming and hawing (and the ex really didn't want me to get one, so that put it on hold for a lot longer)... I finally did it.

The manfolk took me yesterday to my favorite local biker bar and ink shop. Dennis met us up there to get his touched up (he got his done there about 18 months ago) and I got it done.

Sigh.

Love it and it feels good that I finally did it and my manfolk made for an excellent photographer (and cheering section).



Can't wait until mom finds out. Can't really hide this one.
